"Deborah Spertus is an artist turned psychotherapist who spent many years as a working artist. She ran a mural and faux finishing business for about 15 years before selling her work from her studio and at art fairs. Although she no longer paints, this piece reflects her enduring fascination with color and movement. Created through an interactive process of manipulating paint by moving the canvas, it represents a dynamic dance between artist and materials—a final exploration from her years devoted to art."
